> But we seem to have a fear of kerberos problem.
Interesting followup: I've had two people tell me by email this morning
(I'm moving Bision to subversions and setting up some developers) that
they haven't been able to log into the GNU machines since kerberization.
I don't know how wide spread this problem is - but it also may explain
why people have been choosing the OpenSSH option.
This is not just a kerberos problem. As far as I know it's been the
case in general that over the course of the last year there have been
many occasions when nobody has been paying much attention to creating
new accounts.
I also have a vague recollection that back in 97 when the previous
password reboot happened a lot of people were complaining that they
suddenly lost access.
If someone wants to take the time to work with people to get kerberos
set up, it can happen. Thus far nobody has seemed to care.
