Chris,

I have to say, it sounds to me like you don't have an authorization on your 
iLok. I know Steve said that some versions of Pro Tools come with an 
authorization already on an iLok and I won't argue with that although I've 
never heard of such a thing. That aside, are you 100% certain that your iLok 
contains a license for Pro Tools? I mean, if you go to iLok.com, insert your 
key and synchronize it you can see the Pro Tools 9 authorization on the key?

I've had no issues with getting a human on the phone at Avid when registering a 
product. I think you shouldn't give up on calling them to get help with the 
registration process.
