You're not going crazy at all. In PT 11 and higher this bug has existed
all along. I spoke with Brandon a tech since this was happening and Avid
is aware that sometimes when either engaging or disengaging the
transport at random times slip and shuffle mode default to where they
were previously. There are quite a few of these little bugs that he told
me they are aware of and working on. I'm surprised you don't ever use
command comma and period for RW and FF but this is another issue
randomly working and changing habits. BTW, not sure what you said the
intro lyrics were in Come Together but they're Here come old flat top.
