Aha, see, that's what Quickeys does to you. I meant shift comma and
shift period. That was invoked in the earliest versions of PT that I can
remember. A control surface isn't much better or at least not 100% of
the time for transport controls. Both the C|24 and D-command are having
the same issue. Although not a large percentage of a session, quite a
few times there will be skips while in RW or FF. According to Avid they
also know about this but as I said, they've supposedly known since
version 11 came out and have released all subsequent updates without a
fix. My calls only get escalated to higher techs who say they already
know about these issues. Of course none of this has anything to do with
Voiceover so one would think some of these problems would take
precedence over smaller things even for the sighted community.
