Okay The pause button does not make a track. I tried it last night and when
I pressed pause at the end of a song and stared it up again it was still
track five. I tried it on one of my throw away disks. Pressing the track
button between songs works just fine. I just finished a CD for my friend.
When I need to turn a record over I push the stop button Then when I put it
on record again it automatically makes a new track If you are in the music
Cd mode, but if you are in the daisy mode you have to press the track
button. I learned that the hard way. I hope this helps. When I pressed
the pause button last night I thought it would go to track six, but it
didn't so I got two songs on track five. Linda Reeder
