Just for the record - I'm both quite frustrated you are pushing so
hard for something that is clearly what I don't want (direct calls to
the data sources), but I'm very happy to have someone who so clearly
knows what he's doing forcing me to question my assumptions in a way
that doesn't assume but merely provides data and questions.
