heh, thanks..

I think the brown one *popping* more than the others has to do with
how they eye interprets the [combinations|contrast|shades] of the
colors. A design professional, I am sure, could give an elaborate
explanation; and probably better color combos. Then again, it may
just be me applying the changes to each one a little differently each
time. heh.

yikes. [shrug] Then again, ok, I can see that.

I will agree that the pile could, at first glance, be anything. (and
yes, scales up this close could be from a croc or even a dragon
[grin]. But these are supposed to be snake). I added an element (see
UPDATE on the link, if you care to) that should help. But... if this
concept needs *any* explanation at all.. then it may not be the right
approach. One thing I would find uncomfortable is people squinting at
it saying, "what the heck is that?". I actually worked up a more
complicated header image that bolsters the concept. But it doesn't
mirror the current site style or illustrate the spirit of this
exercise.

The variety of colors is just to show that color does not matter too-
too much. I have no idea if anybody would even like the idea, much
less what color scheme they would be applied to.

Anyway, these are just some ideas that I had some fun playing with.
If there is interest, I would be happy to take suggestions. If not, I
can just drop it.
