And this 'Noise' problem was the reason for the popularity in the
USA of the "Bent" modifications to the QL's.
Frank and I (while we were Mechanical Affinity ) used to perform
a lot of these modifications of QL's we were asked to repair.
There was a whole list of little things we did to the QL
motherboard to address these issues.

The "Bent" modifications were developed by a Technition who worked
in Satellite communications R&D and also did product stress testing
of electronics for NASA.
