Apparently, we only stopped paying the US back for 'loans' from the 2nd World War at the end of 2006. No wonder we suck up to GWB all the flipping time. I wonder what our 'special relationship' will be now we don't owe them an more money (and interest!) > I didn't realise Win 3.1 had a defrag program Ah, was it Win 95 then - I can't remeber, it was a long long time ago. > - I used a DOS defragger > (speedisk) that allowed you to look at a cluster and told you to which > file(s) the data belonged... Maybe M$ bought it in their usual manner. Anyway, all slightly OT, so to get back on. I have, on many occasions, thought of writing a defragger for the QL but the thought always comes to me "why?". I've never come up with a good reason, so I haven't bothered. Lazy programmer syndrome I'm afraid :o) Cheers, Norman. _______________________________________________ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
