Not your English that's the problem, but trying to pass off Seattle 
speak and NTFS obfuscatory patois is.

Hi-jacking a decent English word and giving it a logically impossible 
meaning is ridiculous. A terminalogical inexactitude springs to mind.

In the sense it is used it would be better hyphenated "ex-tent" , 
rather apropos as it is a non-resident.

Lewis Carrol would have had a field day with such nonsense
