Baggage is the only unseen extra (if you ignore food and coffee). At
least Easyjet are not *considering* charging for the loo, unlike
Ryanair. I think they did that just for the publicity, as they withdrew
it quickly.
Or maybe they were testing the waters and the very public backlash persuaded them not to.

I can see the baggage being an issue with the number of sweaters I'll need for Switzerland that time of year!
You could wear them all.

Mind you Argos sell a pretty good (and big) cabin bag for about £6.50. I was surprised how large the max actually is. I immediately took off the
wheels and handle which increased capacity enormously, and reduced the
weight. I really do not want to look like an Apprentice candidate!
Thanks for that suggestion. The bag I meant, not "look like an
Apprentice candidate..."
Just had a quick look now and maybe I found the wrong bag. Price £7.50, the one I saw is larger than Easyjet's max cabin bag size unfortunately.
Yes indeed. The only cheapish 'flight bag' with another case is much too small:

Silly - my £6.50 one is absolutely perfect and was a very much last minute (day before) purchase for a job. It will be in Lucerne! It was an interesting job. A friend's brother had been let down by a builder who was hospitalised. I was whisked to Aberdeen, and discovered in the process that motorbike parking in BAA airports is *free* and right next to the terminal. Perfect. There are also no car park tickets - one just gets waved through. Good for 6 months parking then (8-)# You could drive to Luton by motorbike (8-)# Silly you may say, but I have just been to St David's and it only took 4.5 hours by bike.

Switzerland isn't EU of course, so we need to find out if a laptop or
USB pens (QL On A Stick) can be taken, for example. As I've only just
Definitely OK.
As long as the laptop is not in checked-in hold luggage it seems, must be in cabin hand baggage (Not that you'd risk putting it in hold baggage anyway)
Odd - why I wonder? Is that only Easyjet?

Easyjet allow only one cabin bag per person, not even handbags.
