Just back from a week away in Scotland visiting (sick) parents and
attending a funeral. :-(
Found the DVD when I got home yesterday and have only just had a chance
to try it on Linux (Open Suse 11.4) works fine. I don't have autorun
turned on on my CD/DVDs so I open index.html manually.
I've used Konqueror and Firefox where the right-click -> Open in New Tab
works fine. Okular then opens to allow me to view the PDFs.
As someone who has to burn a pile of DVDs for a living (at work that
is!) I know exactly what a PITA it is to do, so a huge thank you to
Jochen - who I assume did the burning - it is an extremely thankless task.
Equally huge thanks are due to everyone who scanned, collated and edited
the DVD contents - thanks everyone.
I for one, appreciate the hard work and effort involved. We sometimes
forget (I think) that QL Today is not created by a huge conglomerate
with the latest in printing and DVD duplication equipment and that most,
if not all, is done by hand.
Cheers,
Norm.
