If you have a window with a non-zero border and have issued one of COLOUR_PAL, COLOUR_24 and COLOUR_NATIVE you cannot make the border zero with, eg BORDER 0,0. You only get a zero border with COLOUR_QL.. This is true when you use assembler to do the same thing. In other words it is to do with the TRAP #3 border routine.   George
