Sorry about that-  I misread.
I had the best luck when I manually rebuild each package (rpmbuild --rebuild --with distro package.src.rpm) in the /usr/src/qtms-install/
Then I watched for errors, fixed when neccessary, then watched to what dir it wrote too.
most get written to /usr/src/redhat/RPM/i386/ but some get written to /usr/src/redhat/RPM/noarch/

After I rebuilt each, I just rpm- ivh /usr/src/redhat/RPM/i386/package.rpm

rebuild, rpm -ivh, rebuild, rpm ivh.  over and over and over.

I've been working on this for weeks to get it to connect to old email data.
So I wouldnt give up hope aftert only a few days.

Installation order is not so important because dependency warnings make you follow the right way. Read The Installation Notes. However you should begin compiling and installing daemontools, ucspi-tcp, vpopmail, qmail, courier-imap, autorespond, mrtg, maildrop (if you need it), control-panel, ezmlm, qmailadmin, qmailmrtg, vqadmin (if you want - it is very obsolete), squirrelmail, spamassassin, clamav, and simscan.

good luck-
