Well, I understand the basic concepts of softlimit. My question was really: is 1.28 gigabytes a reasonable setting for this value? That just seems awfully high to me, especially given that the default setting in the toaster is 64 megabytes (64000000 vs your 1280000000) - that’s a factor of 20 increase. Again, unless I’ve got an off-by-a-digit issue somewhere, but I’m pretty sure I’m reading that correctly. 64 megabytes is the recommended setting from “Life with Qmail” and “The Qmail Handbook”, so I thought I was safe raising it to 128k, or even 160k, but over a gig seems like an awful lot. Does it really need to be that high? -- Steve Linberg, Chief Goblin Silicon Goblin Technologies http://silicongoblin.com Be kind. Remember, everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
