I know what you mean, I think it happens to all of us in one way or another. What's important for me as a core developer is to provide you with sufficient aid to make your way safely through the information, rather than bein overwhelmed by it. If we can provide enough orientation so everybody finds what he needs to know *next*, then we did a good job. But this is at the same time the weak spot of all core developers. As we are working with this stuff every day, and have done so mostly for years, we have accumulated so much inside knowledge that guides us that we lost sight for the perspective people have that are new to the project. We have this insider blindness. Therefore, we depend on quality feedback from the community, especially from those that see the project with fresh eyes. The web site is a wiki, and without spoiling anything that is there already you can add a document and advertise it on the mailing list, saying "Here is a link to information that would have made my life easier had I had this a week or a month ago". > I did come across something very applicable to my concerns in > this link (http://news.qooxdoo.org/category/discussion) that I had never > seen before, I'm glad you took the effort to dig for it. I'm sure the web site (and the mailing list, BTW) contain a wealth of information (as we are actually *writing* a lot), it just takes a bit of dedication to find it.
