I did try a search in the javascript corner : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/javascript
Since I do not come with a precise search, questions look like in no particular order. Just after landing in that corner I feel lost. I pick the first one : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2020796/swing-text-editor-that-color-and-highlight After few second I understand it is not a javascript question but a Swing question even if it has been tagged as javascript. I then notice it has been tagged with a lot of keywords, bad practice I supposed, but it is there. I'm not estonished since the site is not managed (no moderator, or people in charge per section) Maybe it could become a valuable searchable and taggable FAQ maintained mainly by qooxdoo support team but also by community. Also, if it is possible to have color syntaxing for the given example it could become a good place for snapshot, so it could be tagged and searchable. I'm very skeptical it could be as valuable as the question and answer we currently have in the mailing list. I also would like to clarify one point : will the support (don't care if it is called Q&A or discussion or other words given to it) be on SO or mailing list ? That is also one more site I'll have to register, store the password, ... annoying. I should keep it online permanently like my email client, again, not a big fan of that. Unlike my email client, I'll have to hit refresh on a regular basis if I want to help. So with SO, helping to promote qooxdoo will become more difficult for me and some others. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ qooxdoo-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qooxdoo-devel
