Because I would like to test SO. What would have been the point of "searching"
the only one qooxdoo question available :-)

Unlike the email, it is several lines per question, definitively less user
friendly, less efficient but more colorful.
I don't like it, maybe only personal taste.

That's for a test, if I take the qooxdoo corner with only one Q&Q, what would I
test ?

Exactly, except my email tag for me the email I read and the unread others.
Also, 2 months without reading mailing list never happened to me in more than 2
years.
So, this email is just the right tool.

Not completely wrong but misleading for the end user experience.
I've seen nothing to prevent that in the future for qooxdoo in SO.

This clarification is essential to me I note several points :

* the test launched is not a test like I understood but now it is clear.
SO is launched but may not stay if the success is not there.
I thought a vote of the community would have been nice before the decision
but OK, its done.

* the risk is high to split the community but it has been already said

* I would not post anymore on SO subject because I don't want to be too
negative and I feel there is nothing more I can do.
Of course, I'll continue to help on the mailing list ! I'm a big qooxdoo fan
even if I consider that SO is a big mistake.
I don't think SO is the good way to address more people.
I have some ideas on that like propose qooxdoo in one big file without the
Python toolchain.

I don't want to mix everything and I'm not a big fan of Google service and I
don't have a yahoo account, so the only way for me would be to register with a
new account.
I know some people open one Google account and do everything with it.
I'm really concern about privacy and I can't advise anyone to use one big
Google account for everything.
To me this is bad practice I know it may not be the consensus. I had worked on
IT security, that may explain my feeling :-)

I never said it was not possible but to you're asking too much : no added value
for me to seek/install and use a new soft that will take more memory and CPU on
my poor old dev machine.
Email client is already open and I think I'll stick to email client as long as
I can.
I already have this debates on other mailing list, I have the impression I
already have that discussion several time :-)
Always the same arguments, no winner, pro web and pro desktop application is
the same kind of discussion and I'm not using web email client.

As said I won't post again on that subject and I hope SO will be positive for
qooxdoo.
I'll be happy of any qooxdoo success whatever I said before :-)
