This is a good news to rise some hopes.
In any case, I don't see any woouuh having QML components in desktop 
applications, unless you are doing games or some specific fancy app for 
teenagers. But for the regular purposes and specially for productivity 
applications the end user is expecting a native look and feel according to its 
platform and the chosen theme. Any other approach would be even annoying and 
possibly frustrating.
