Another suggestion is to distribute an image that can fit on a small USB
stick of around 128MB or so. This image can contain the freeware QEMU
virtual machine, which can then run linux in a virtual machine in
windows. If you configure it correctly, you can even make it auto-run
the virtual machine when the USB stick is inserted, so a user doesn't
even have to reboot. QEMU is not very fast though, so to keep things
zippy, you could consider distributing a Linux image that uses a very
lightweight window manager such as Xfce. That way, you don't even need
to bother including QT3 (because Xfce doesn't need it) and you only
have to include QT4.
I admit this is quite a lot of work, and you may not have the time or
motivation to do it, but I'm suggesting it anyway, because someone else
could make it work. I'll play around with Damn-Small-Linux or
feather-linux and QEMU to see what I can do, but I don't have too much
time, so I'm not promising anything.
