There are people taking it out of context and it's starting to frustrate me.  I could never feel that way.  Of all people I do know the difference because I know what it feels like to both a quad and a para.  BIG DIFFERENCE!!  I'm glad you understand Dave, but hey, your always understanding. Probably one of the most understanding on this list.

Hi Stacy,

I thought that was what you meant.  I didn't want anyone taking it out of context.  We Quads and Paras have got to stick together.  :)

That is what I meant by that statement Dave.  I would never feel that way.  I may be one of the rare para's that knows what it's like to be a quad so I could never see all paralysis as the same.  I know that I am damn lucky to be a para and not a quad.

Hi Stacy,

I would think that in the aspect of getting looked at as a sexual being, maybe to the AB of the opposite sex, paralyzed is paralyzed, but I don't think the paralyzed person thinks that way.  At least I hope not!  I know I don't think that way!

Your right in the aspect of everyday life.  Of course I know that.  The statement was related to relationships.  Para's are still seen as paralyzed.  In the aspect of getting looked at as a sexual being is just as hard for para's to face.  To the opposite sex paralyzed is paralyzed.

That statement shouldn't hurt anyone. It's true... Paras have it easier than quads. Just like a C5 like me has it easier than a C4. The more moement you have, the more you can do for yourself. If it's not a fact, than show me someone who would volunteer to break their spine a few levels higher.
