What I have done in the past was have an email account that had Wheelchairman in it, the hiring manager kind of figured out that I had a disability, I got the job.
Now I am not telling them anything until I roll in for the interview and they see that I am in a wheelchair. They might be uncomfortable for a moment but after a few seconds of talking to them; they do not seem to care about the wheelchair. I just wonder if I show start use the email with the Wheelchairman in it or keep with my current strategy. If you are qualified, you are qualified. They cannot hire/fire because of a disability. If you tell them up front it gives them time to come up with an excuse to not even interview you. If they hire someone with lesser qualifications, then you can say 'foul'!
