The contiuation of the war in Iraq was due to non-compliance to the
cease-fire agreement signed by Sadamned in 91. UN Resolution 1441 was
adopted UNANIMOUSLY by the UN Security counsel. It was specific in its
terms. It called for proof that Sadamned had completed the terms set
forth in 91. France thought it could block action (even though they too
signed the resolution) by just not coming back to the table. France
insured Sadamned that the US wouldn't attack to enforce the resolution
w/o France's consensus. This emboldened Sadamned into non-compliance
and he then refused several "last chances" through accepting exile
instead of plunging his country back into war.
Too bad that he chose to believe France instead of keeping his side of
the bargan.
BTW he was having a splended time torturing and killing all during that
time period. It is estimated he killed over a million. It was common
practice to kill a mans wife after sexualy torturing her if someone
THOUGHT the man was less than 100% subservant. And then they'd charge
him for the bullet when dumping her body on his door step.
Had klinton tried to enforce the 91 treaty, maybe a lot more people
would be alive today.
Quit drinking the kool-aid served by the left winged media.
These facts are all available by anyone willing to look.

The hard Right vwanted this long before 911, they had hopes of this
thing happening since he was elected.

Do not any of you read your Bibles? It says there that there always
will be wars and rumours of wars. Why can't we just stay at home and
take care of our own problems?
