Good post! I think you stepped in a minefield because we each have experienced depression. We are all different in many ways, including how we deal with depression. I have known a lot of folks that couldn't deal and have chosen to end their problems. Trouble with that is they ended everything. I'm not afraid of dying. I don't give advice on suicide because I've only decided that I want to live today. Some days that decision gets clouded by depression. I hope you let these bad feelings go and stay with us. But, I will never lower my opinion of any one on this list because they succumbed to depression. I look at depression in the same way I view UTI's. They can be fatal and I sure hope there is a better life awaiting us all. If you do take that route please get your affairs in order and don't leave trivial notes blaming others. The world is aware of what you did and why you did it. If you mess up you will do time in a psych center and it won't be fun, so don't mix up a suicide attempt with a cry for help. Do not set up some elaborate event where some poor schmuck kills you accidentally. They don't deserve that on their conscience.   john   In a message dated 7/15/2005 12:45:23 P.M. And though life is tough for us think of these poor mizerable souls. We just got to try and get by the best we can until our creator decides our time on earth is finished.
