Same here Dan!  But I don't take Ambien.  I take 50mgs of Amitriptyline at bedtime and an over-the-counter
sleep aide as needed.
 
I change position once each night now like I did the first 15 yrs post-injury.  Then I slept
on my side all night soundly with the Amitrip but a yr ago I started to need to move again.

  Same here Corie, the 1st 3 years I could sleep like a baby many nights, After that my pain was growing due to a spinal sirinx and growing nerve damage, Plus I have to have a drink of water about every hour or so it seems. I use to need at least 8 hours of sleep but now survive on much less anymore, when I get overly tired I'll take ambien sleeping pill and doctor put me on elavil at nights to help sleep and help with cronic pains.
