Hi Gabe's mom,  So sorry that you have to feel this way during holidays , We do care how you feel. I understand how you feel.  I probably would just make your own new friends and not tell them and when the holidays came around, not even ask for their support, since they don't seem to want to give any and after 10 years they know the difficulties you face daily.  Sometimes when we get angry people just look at that as the problem being our problem.  . it's really hard to know what to do.  If they really care they will call you about coming over to your house and you wouldn't have to ask.   Some people never understand, until they are in the same situation.  It is sad but true.   I may have ask you this before, how old is Gabe, I forgot.  I don't remember his specific limitations.  I wish we had a web site, for all the people on the quadlist had some kind of profile.  It would be easier to respond to questions.  Those of us without photographic memories.  Ha ha
