You had to know people like Ed Roberts (post-polio) (father of independent
living)
to appreciate that. Ed was one of the most out going individual I
knew. I would meet him at the airports and he would be cruising the car
rental counters, flirting with all the females and making them smile. But
you had to know Ed, to appreciate his style.
