Dan, I'm so sorry to hear about your syrinx. Yes, he's great to still be alive. My Transverse Myelitis hit me instantly. I had to life symptoms(fever, chills, diarrhea, etc.) for about four days, then while sitting at my nephew's wedding reception. I had a terrible pain in my neck and arm and within seconds I couldn't feel my hands and arms and within 10 minutes later, my legs gave out. By the time I reached the hospital, I was totally paralyzed from the neck down. After five sessions of plasmapheresis, I regained some use of my left leg, and a little use of my left arm and hand. I am totally paralyzed on the right side. Who are the other people on the quad list that has Transverse Myelitis? I only know of the one, Cullen. Hang in there until later.
