I have just had a complete physical and evauation. One thing did change
alittle. I have been classified as a c3 quad since my injury 10 years ago. I
know why, because of a ventelator initially, Off vent soon after. I have
functioned as a c4-5 since that time, but have been unable to get
classification changed. Finally got a Dr to give alittle. He change
classification to c3 c4 c5. I know it's not very important in the scheme of
things, but every time someone see c3 on a chart they start acting like I'm to
fragile to do anything and start limiting what they think I can do. Why is it
that doctors are so ungiving on things like reducing or eliminating medication,
changing classifications etc. OK I'm done venting, I just get so pissed off at
them.
