It sounds like a vagal response caused by the dysreflexia. Now- what is causing 
the dysreflexia? It sounds like it could be the bowel and or bladder, they can 
actually fight each other, if they are both full (from personal experience) 
they tend to fight each other for the right of way.... so to speak. Have your 
blood pressure taken when this happens; if you have a high or super low blood 
pressure, it just may be a vagal response.
