Nifedpine (spelling) is my protocol when in AD. Slice the capsule to squeeze the juice under the tongue. Blood pressure will drop in a few moments which will give you time to resolve the problem. I thought every quad did this. Right on, do not leave it at home.

My doctor likes it better because if the source of the dysreflexia can be remedied, you can simply remove the nitroglycerin strip from your shoulder area and your BP will not bottom out.
