Yep.... Atenelol,
           Procardia,
           Nitroglycerin tablets or cream

Should always be available when needed. I have gone for years without
having to take one or the other then BAM ... Something gets triggered and
bad enough so that I have to resort to one of those.

Right now it is a very low dose of Atenelol but I still have a nitroglycerin
tablet that the hospital sent me home with after my bladder stones were
removed just in case my previous experience of having stones removed
happened again.

I should probably look into having one of these pills with me in case I have
severe dysreflexia when I am out and about, but I do have a tube of
nitroglycerin cream for use if I am at home.
My doctor likes it better because if the source of the dysreflexia can be
remedied, you can simply remove the nitroglycerin strip from your shoulder
area and your BP will not bottom out.
I would listen to the other people about checking that website.
Take care and I hope you feel better shortly.

I always keep nifedipine with me just in case my bp gets too high. It will
drop your bp fairly fast (a minute or two).
Also, I use zylocaine jelly before and during my bowel program and cath
changes to numb the areasÂ… therefore, less a.d..
