Let common sense prevail.  Rarely will those after market switches  work as 
designed.  Those toggle switches may all look the same on the  handle, but you 
have to consider what is inside the body that counts.
You have to consider that any replacement switch be equal in action to the  
original one.

guys,  my invacare power chair has died on me. The control box and batteries 
are ok  because I tested them. Every one of the lights on the control box are 
on.  The 'gas gauge' is lit from one side to the other and all the power level 
 lights are  on at once.  The chair does nothing. Any  ideas?
hi there! that's strange because just yesterday my other 1/2 fixed my  
driving chair. it's an invacare and he called them & they said it could be  the 
control box or the 'switch'. mine did the same, just quit but the on light  
would 
flick on and off. mine was the switch. if you can get to radio shack you  can 
get one there.
