Toggle switches are available with different values and poles. Some are momentary. Others are double throw, in their action. Granted, if you are womanly wise enough to find the exact switch with the correct action.... go fer it. Just make sure that you save your receipt in case you have to return it. Newark Electronics is much better when it comes to replacement switches, as they supply so many of them to places like McMaster-Carr and WW Granger. This weekend, we will be attending the 36th Annual US Van Nationals in Southern Illinois, Effingham. Hopefully, we will be able to meet up with over 1000 custom vans from North America. We will be the last to arrive as most others have been there since last Sunday camping with their families. We hope to arrive tomorrow late afternoon and camp until Sunday. Let common sense prevail. Rarely will those after market switches work as designed. Those toggle switches may all look the same on the handle, but you have to consider what is inside the body that counts. You have to consider that any replacement switch be equal in action to the original one.
