I have one of those heaters sitting in my room, but I really haven't used it over the last two years. I have, on the other hand, used an electric blanket to warm up my bed, but I have discovered a leave electric blanket on, even on a very low setting, I overheat to easily. I found it better just to put quite a few blankets over me.
Then again, I live in Florida and what I perceived to be cold is warm by everybody else's standards. At least when it comes to winter weather. I have often wondered how much electricity those heaters suck up. Personally I have not had those heaters warmed my room too well. Old-fashioned type used to do much better, but they are extremely dangerous. I always make sure that I have an appliance module on them so I can shut them off. Take care and stay warm everyone.
