My wife and I used one once when we were staying at a small, po-dunky motel in 
a particularly cool part of AZ.  We froze most of the evening (it *was* below 
freezing outside) but then later we both woke up quite hot (or for me, 
overheated) around 2:00am.

That sucker warmed the place up A LOT but took forever to do it.  Maybe they 
heat a little quicker and more evenly now... don't know.
