Well, the theory behind (no pun intended) Mirilax is that it doesn't make you go, it lets you go.

I agree. Ask your doc about taking Mirilax. If I haven't gone for a couple of days, I take one dose and within 12 to 24 hours I have no trouble dropping a load.

What do you do when it's clear that you have eaten too much fiber and are having difficulty
going. The only way to go is to (how do I say this and be polite??????)
"dig it out"?
I am starting college full time in a couple of weeks, I can afford to spend 2 hours
on the toilet each night.  Honestly at the point of considering not eating to
eliminate the problem.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
