Sometimes, its more then just hungry and sometime its all about hunger. Consider a good diet of intake without the sugars, white flour and empty calories. Have you discussed this issue with his primary doctor and the possible ill effects of his newly developed bad habits? Best Wishes In a message dated 10/26/2009 7:33:30 A.M. Hi, My husband has paralyzed vocal cords but has been able to eat in the last 6 months. Since then he has put on about 40 pounds. His belly is getting huge. I am trying to get him to reduce his intake but he gets pissed if I deny him any goodies. His calorie intake a day is about 2500-3500. The dietician told me he should have between 1500-1800. Every day we set this goal and never achieve. He is getting harder to position... Can anyone offer me some advice as to what to tell him or do? He just don't listen. I have such a hard time saying no to him, he been thru so much... Thanks, Kandy - Wife of C4 complete 5/10/08
