I use abdominal binders to keep my quad belly at bay, but unfortunately I have gained a little bit of weight over the last several years and am now a little more rotund in the belly region.
I also let a couple of my binders get a little too stretched out and this allowed my belly to develop a little more. I was just able to get two of my binders sized down a little more so I could put more pressure on my belly, thus making it easier for my blood pressure to stay elevated and my breathing to remain regular. The metal shanks in the sides to an unbelievable job in keeping my posture straight. I don't know what I would look like if I didn't wear a binder. You're right, it's definitely worth the three or four minutes by caregivers spend getting it on me. Quadius
