Injuries and their effects differ greatly among Quads.  But you ask a  very 
good question.
Education, education and more education.  Knowledge is power.
Another thing, with your doctor develop a medical baseline.  Know your  
Urologist and make sure that your Urologist knows you.
Plan for your future.  You have so much time ahead of you.
