Hi Shelley, I have not heard from you. Are you still in school and I think you were learning how to drive? Were you going to take some kind of social work classes? How are things going with you? Glad to hear from you through the list. Tell me what you have been doing.
I don't smoke or drink either. I would probably somehow get a standing frame so I've would not have gotten osteoporosis. When I went to rehab at Craig in and 88 for an evaluation, I was told to get one, but the state would not get one and my insurance would not cover. I should have tried to get one myself, although I may have had already gotten it by then . It seems like most things you cannot prevent. I am looking forward to summer time, I hate winter and the cold weather. Always, Dana C4-5, 35 years post injury in 74, now 56, Prairie Village Kansas (suburb of Kansas City) Wishing you all a Happy New Year. Does anyone make New Year's resolutions? . Your your input is valued~more than you could ever know. I am only 3 years post injury and the longer I read the more questions I have. At this point the following is most important: For those of you with more living experience as quads, what would be the one thing you would do different or maybe wish you would have done/or not done over the years? Fortunately I quit smoking before my accident and I no longer drink alcohol~ THANK YOU AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!! MANY BLESSINGS! Shelly 3 years post C6-C7 incomplete
