There are a number of things you can say about Stones.
 
They make lousy pets
They are a terrible investment
They are of little value to their owners
Broken are better tolerated then Boulders.
 
Because you are a quad, the procedure is consider surgery and usually you  
are asleep during the removal process, so you don't jump off the table and  
decide its a great time to go on vacation.
 
Ultra Sound will spot them, Sound Blasting with reduce them to grains and  
the doctor can remove most of them quite easily.

Yesterday I got scoped at my uro doc's office and he  said I had some 
bladder stones. He said he would have to put me in the  O.R. to remove them. Is 
that the typical way to remove them? Seems a  little extream.
