Oh, I was just wondering if there was an easier way to remove the bladder stones rather than going through the O.R. routine again. Thought it might be something that a doc can do in the office, but guess not. So, back to the O.R. in April. Tim

In 2008 and 2009 I had to get kidney stones lasered and was able to speak to the anesthesiologists while still in the pre-op area. That musta worked with the no-bad-feeling-at-all when she started the process and was awake no AD afterward. I think that was a good call and it WAS suggested by the anesthesiologist. After all was going smoothly he just slipped me under enough to sleep through it briefly. I think it took about 60-90 minutes but that included putting in the epidural, prep work and blasting EIGHT LARGE STONES. He said he would have to put me in the O.R. to remove them. Is that the typical way to remove them? Seems a little extream.
