Hi Tim,
An alternative which might not completely remove them but can help is taking
apple cider vinegar, I've been takingit myself and the discomfort has
diminished a lot, I can see all the grit coming out too, you just have to be
careful that your catheter doesn't clog up. It will take time before you see
realresults though so if your issue is really bad maybe your best option is to
remove them with laser.Check out these

It's amazing all the benefits it has, for UTI's and a number of other things.
Good luck!

Oh, I was just wondering if there was an easier way to remove the bladder
stones rather than going through the O.R. routine again. Thought it might be
something that a doc can do in the office, but guess not. So, back to the O.R.
in April.

So what is your major concern then? Or did I answer it in my long description?

I have a very good uro doc. He's very aware of the AD problem with SCIers. In
2008 and 2009 I had to get kidney stones lasered and was able to speak to the
anesthesiologists while still in the pre-op area.

I forgot to say that they gave me an epidural first so I could stay awake.
That musta worked with the no-bad-feeling-at-all when she started the process
and was awake no AD afterward.

I think that was a good call and it WAS suggested by the anesthesiologist.
After all was going smoothly he just slipped me under enough to sleep through
it briefly. I think it took about 60-90 minutes but that included putting in
the epidural, prep work and blasting EIGHT LARGE STONES.

Yesterday I got scoped at my uro doc's office and he said I had some bladder
stones. He said he would have to put me in the O.R. to remove them. Is that the
typical way to remove them? Seems a little extream.
