My Uro did it right in his office, 2 different Uro's.
Once through my pecker, once through my Supra Pubic.
They slid a scope in just like when they scope out my bladder now and then as a checkup.
But it has a clamp on the end. If they can grab a stone they just pull it out.
The last Uro said I should get scoped yearly, that my SP has irritated the bladder wall causing a red spot.
He wants to keep a watch on the area. If there are tiny stones or junk floating around they can flush it out at the time too.
I do sweat while he is doing it, especially when he is filling it up to look around or flushing it.
He said some quads do react badly and can't do it without a (spinal?)
While still in rehab I got a stone they tried to take out through the pecker, but it was too big (the stone) and it got stuck half way out.
The stone broke through the urethra and got stuck...
He wanted to do surgery to get it out, a big one (again the surgery). Laying me on my stomach going through an area in my back.
I asked for a 2nd opinion and another Uro was able to get it out with the scope through my pecker.
Manually manipulating the stone with his hand then grabbing it with the scope.
Before that mistake my bladder was able to stay clamped and not leak. No condom cath needed.
