If Baclofen worked once, you will need to up the dosage every few years. Or
change to a different medication.
But, if meds have not worked for your spasms (like me) you might ask your doc
to try a pain med.
I tried many anti spasm meds, all they did was put me to sleep. After trying
ms-contin for some bad pain issues, I noticed it stopped my spasms 99%. I had
hurt my hip and did not notice it until it started causing some trouble. First
issue was spasms. I went 20 years or so with no spasm, then one day my leg just
wanted to jerk real hard, then bob up and down. Then my abdomen would crunch
tight, often making me grunt. It lasted months. Then the pain go so bad, my
whole thigh area just throbbed. Even in my dreams.
Anyway, if the spasm drugs don't help your spasms, check to see if pain issues
might be the cause of the spasms.
