It will but only when you don't need it to.  The Q800 does respond to 
Command-Control-Power but apparently the code to do this is readily 
trampled on by a program that has run amok.  So if a program has hung 
up then it probably won't work.  But if the computer is working okay 
you can hit Command-Control-Power and it will restart.  Fortunately 
it has the front panel buttons.  I think most other models have the 
functionality built into the ADB chip or something and do the restart 
in hardware as most seem to restart with Command-Control-Power from 
almost anything.

Q800 has front panel buttons for reset and programmers switch, power 
button is on the back panel.
