You can increase the number of slots by /quadstorvtl/bin/vtconfig -v <vtl name> -s <number of slots>
For example /quadstorvtl/bin/vtconfig -v VTL1 -s 100 Then a quadstorvtl service restart is required service quadstorvtl restart Its ok to downgrade to 3.0.8. 3.0.11 changed the FC driver, its better to fix the boot problem, else you wont be able to install any further upgrades without hitting the problem again. Do you have any further information on the boot problem which you can share.
