If you can't follow the diagrams in the manual you aren't going to get very far yourself. The first thing to do though is to earth any brown wires, not brown with stripes, just plain brown. The alternator wiring will just stop the battery charging and the alternator warning light from coming on. You should still have the oil warning light and the handbrake light come on with the ignition.
You may have to resort to getting an auto electrician in to sort it out for you. Or get another loom from Ebay, the H4 should take the fiesta loom pretty much unmodified so i'm not sure why yours would have been pulled apart.
