Hi ,that's pretty much where I'm up to - I will check all the brown earths today.
The wires I'm having trouble with are a long red wire, in a black sheath togehther with a thin blue wire with a ring connection at one end and a push fit at the other, it looks like they should fit from the starter to the altenator - According to the wiring diagram but the altenator has no connections for them. I also have several large black earth cables, which don't seem to fit anywhere, one runs along taped to the previously mentioned wires but is too short to fit on anything, it has a shorter black cable coming from the "top" end. I can usually read a digram - enough to get by, my usual hobby is classic cars this is my first foray into kit cars. I appreciate the advice, about an auto electrician, but would hope that would be a last resort! I would appreciate any advice anyone can give.
